I am Mario Alonso Sauceda, an Industrial Designer who is passionate about creative problem-solving, 3D modeling, and rapid prototyping. My journey to becoming an Industrial designer began in the 7th grade, when I took my first CAD class as an elective. The idea of being able to create anything out of my imagination and bring it to life was inspired by my favorite superhero, the Green Lantern, who uses his power to create any construct from his imagination to save the world. My love for the superhero was just the beginning. Since taking the class, I used my passion for CAD throughout my education through a series of middle school and high school robotics teams, clubs, and internships. Through these experiences, I discovered my passion had become my superpower and could be utilized to aid those in need through inclusivity design. Hence, my Industrial Design journey began.
